While browsing the web I found the BEST website. Awesome hand crafted goodiness for Kids:
so lately I have been decorating my non-existent house in my head. Not that I don't love living with my family but when I finish school I want Tony and I to have our own little house that I can decorate. I love all the bright colors and I loooooooooooove kitchy junk. On that note my new fave website is Pylones USA which I found when I was looking for this toaster.
And this is MY fridge
from bigchillfridge they have amazing colors!
and these are two of the wallpapers by mibo that I have to have (even at $84 a roll!):
And I have to have every thing at Velocity Art and Design
So I checked my blog and the script was all over the place I tried in vain to fix it. My solution was to just break up each craft into it's own little post. So I hope it is more pleasing to look at now! Because my post was so unbelievably long you have to click on the April Link in Archives to see all of it, if you haven't lost interest by now. I promise from now on I will try to post the crafts as they are finished instead of clustering them together.
That I still need a digital camera!
anyway there is so much to post about, thrifting, crafting, adorable child, but without visuals it is just boring, am I right.
So here are some things I would rather spend my money on than save for the camera. I am a sucker for instant gratification. I hope it skips a generation for Tony's sake. These are from loloko which I try to stay away from but the link screams at me from my favorites:
I will not buy these fabrics, but it is so hard to restrain myslef. Check them out only if you have the power to restrain yourself of which I am lacking:

Have I ever mentioned my love of the magazine Ready Made? Well I love it! A total must for the DIY-ers of the world. They also have so many things in the re-tail section that I covet but never can justify the actual purchase. So in this months issue (which has fabulous wedding ideas ashley, I think you have to go buy this copy) the things that I want to buy:
this melamine platter by French Bull which you can buy here at plum party full of fab stuff. Be forwarned that everything is fabulous and you will be tempted to spend spend spend. Example of things that I will justify buying:
because I love cake and cake stands
because all little boys need monster plates
also these dishtowels from weego home:

and they have tons of great home items!
and these dishes are so beautiful from clio by Bodo:
And the NUMBER 1 project that I want to add to my crafting to do list is the tree branch pillow shams from page 30 of this months issue:
I hope you find check out the links and buy Ready Made!
Have I mentioned that I LOVE wooden toys! We already have tons of Melissa & Doug toys which we only afford because T.J. Maxx has loads of them. He has just recently got in to his M & D set of food that you cut up with a wooden knife (it sounds dangerous but it isn't) With Tony's birthday in mind I have found lovely wooden toys that I really want to get him, but lets face it cannot afford. So here are a few things I am going to try to budget for.
This is so cool. It is called the brontosaurus habitat and everything fits inside the big brontosaurus!
from Wild Apples I also am in love with their arks, but that is some serious dough
And ever since soulemama posted this I have laid in bed and calculated how many months it would take me to save for this kitchen set by Elves and Angels
I just know him and his cousin Libby would freak they'd love it so much!
If anyone knows of any other great wooden handcrafted toys please send me the link
Meanwhile I am going to try to get my dad to buil Tony a kitchen
so i was trying to find a pattern to make a cool diaper bag. so i typed in amy butler and http://soulemama.typepad.com/ came up and I have been reading it ever since. completely inspiring stuff. so after about 6 months or so of reading I deciding I would give it a try.
